We rely unfairly more on women than men in various circumstances and tasks. Women are blessed with numerous qualities that make them even more incredible, making life easier for people around them. Even though we have male chauvinists with huge egos in this world, even they won’t be able to deny these ten things women are better at than men.
Communication
We often mock and joke about how women speak so much. It is accurate as an average woman talks three times more than a man. They just don’t speak much but also communicate more politely and clearly. They are also good at listening and making the other person feel understood. Some kind words from a woman can boost the morale of any man.
Maintaining Relationship
Since women are more emotional and empathetic, they are better than men at maintaining solid relationships with everyone around them. Unlike men, women are not afraid of commitment, even in a romantic relationship. Women focus on all beautiful aspects of having a romantic relationship with someone. Meanwhile, men have 20 times more testosterone than women, which drives their focus to mostly the physical intimacy stuff in a relationship.
Multitasking
We all have witnessed that women can manage their work, home, family, friends, and relationships without much hassle. The reason is that a male’s brain is only able to use some specific parts of one hemisphere. In contrast, a female’s brain can utilize vast portions of both hemispheres. Thus, women are naturally wired to be good at multitasking.
Managing Finances
Men usually go crazy while investing and take unnecessary high risks, making them regret later. Studies have shown that female traders are calmer and have a low record of rash investments and financial losses. Women are more careful and attentive while making investments and always take calculated risks.
Academics
Here, I am only stating an obvious point regarding women. On average, they are better in maths and science and score higher grades than boys even if they are not interested in that subject. Women are more likely to graduate from college in comparison to men. They have a strong focus on studying, which enables them to choose their assignments before indulging in any relaxing activities like watching tv.
More Organized
Women are more organized and attentive to details, so they manage their belongings well and keep them safe. They also maintain cleanliness in their room and workplace. Studies have found that men’s offices have 10 percent more bacteria than women’s offices.
Involve in Fewer Accidents
Although women are not as good drivers as men, they are involved in far fewer accidents. Men are involved in 77% more accidents than women, and men are way more careless drivers than women. Since women don’t believe in rash driving or speeding up to impress the opposite gender, they mostly come out alive with minor injuries even if they meet an accident.
Handling Stress
Women are also better at handling stress and stressful situations. They are strong enough to let out all frustrations and other emotions by crying and then can think more clearly, unlike men who bottle up their feelings which later affect their health. Even hormones help women more in dealing with stressful situations. Women secrete more oxytocin than men, and oxytocin is a hormone that lowers other stress hormones. Thus, women also have healthier hearts and a more robust immune system.
Leadership Roles
A firm with more women bosses is able to bring much better results. Since women are empathetic and better at communication, they are naturally good at motivating others, understanding them, and assigning roles that suit their talent. There are numerous leadership lessons to learn from women which can help men to better manage their team and bring the best out of their subordinates.
Caring for Parents
Women have always been more caring and nurturing for their parents, even more than their brothers. In America, 36% of women spend hours caring for their parents. Meanwhile, only 16% of men are involved in elderly care activities. In a study by the University of Michigan, they found out that daughters spend on average 12.3 hours per month taking care of their parents compared to sons spending only 5.6 hours per month.
These are some things women are better at than men, and these qualities have helped them excel and make this world a more beautiful and kinder place to live in. Even men won’t admit it; they know and acknowledge women in their life, playing different roles and making life easier for them.
